Bon Bon Underwear Review by 'Menswear Review'

I've been wondering why Bon Bon uses, "My Bon Bon World" and now I know! It's My Bon Bon World because they're mine, all mine (said with an evil laugh). I've recently had the pleasure of reviewing the Bon Bon Colours Collection Trunks. When I say I had the pleasure, I really mean it - not just it was nice being able to review them, but THANK YOU for granting me this pleasure!! Once you get a pair, they'll be all yours and you won't want to give them up - they're yours, all yours (haha).

On to the review .... As I've subtly alluded to, these trunks are incredibly soft. Made from one of my most favorite fabrics, the trunks are made from 90% micro modal and 10% spandex - giving you this incredible luxury feeling. Seriously, I can't say enough positives about how soft and luxurious these are. The trunks (or briefs if you prefer) come in a vivid array of colors - pink, yellow, green, purple, blue. The colors, while extremely vivid, still give you a masculine feel - likely because of the contrasting leg bands and waistband in combination with the overall cut. The pair I tried was in their green - very cool. I really like the contrasting trim to the vivid green.

An aspect of the micro modal that makes me love it so much is that it has incredible stretch to it. Because if this feature of the fabric, the pouch was incredibly comfortable and supportive; It holds, conforms and supports. The other aspect of the micro modal that I really like is that it's naturally antimicrobal so you don't get any odor while sweating in these beauties.
The waistband, as I said earlier, is contrasted in black with coordinating Bon Bon written across it. The waistband is wide, soft and very comfortable. And, just hanging from the waistband is your little Bon Bon man. For the leg bands, also in contrasting black, fit comfortably around your legs and prevent them from riding up during the day.

While packaging doesn't make them feel any better, it is nice when underwear comes in attractive packaging. With Bon Bon, they come in a nice little box that can be reused for something else or to be used as the wrapping itself if given as a present.

All-in-all, I'd most certainly wear these as daily wear, a special occasion, sports, or just about anything. The Bon Bon Trunk is easily in the top section of my favorite list.

Brisbane's Big Gay Day Summer Street Party 2010!

It's finally arrived! The boys in Brisbane, Australia are getting ready for the biggest gay party on the Brisbane calendar! Celebrating it's 10th birthday this year, Big Gay Day is set to rock with headline act Kelly Rowland and other great artists like Katie Underwood, Mr Timothy, Kate Cook and Killer Queen. The event is hosted by comedian and actress Cal Wilson of "Thank God You're Here" fame.

At just $30 gate price it's one of the cheapest days you can have and with Kelly Rowland -it's a BARGAIN. The event is hosted by the Wickham Hotel in fortitude Valley (corner of Alden and Wickham Streets) and will start at 11am on Sunday 7th of March and will finish at midnight - where the party moves to Fluffy at Family nightclub for the official after party! New York, NY: Jason Sutherland, the man who helped launch the fun-derwear industry with Ginch Gonch, the unapologetically sassy underwear and lounge-wear company, announced today that he has created a new brand of provocative gear. In its campaign tag line, Piss & Vinegar playfully asks guys “do you think you have enough?” It’s a double meaning referring to both their target consumers’ gumption and their ability to fill their briefs. It’s also a clear indication that though Sutherland may have left his bratty baby behind – he founded Ginch Gonch in 2003 - the spirited candor he used to propel his original brand to prominence, remains.

Piss & Vinegar is, however, more grown-up than Sutherland’s past creations. There is underlying message in the line; one that encourages guys to appreciate what life has to offer and work hard to live life to its fullest potential. In other words: “grab life by the balls”. Piss & Vinegar will be available in major department stores, select independent retailers and is available now online.

Made from a breathable, body-conforming stretch fabric (94% Su Pima cotton/6% Lycra), the first collections in the Piss & Vinegar collection will be the “I Love…” line including the controversial ‘I Love Jesus’ and ‘I Love Buddha’ briefs. Designs are available in a brief, boxer brief, low rise brief, and jock strap. All feature the signature 1 1/4 inch microfiber elastic logo waistband with the stylishly bold scripted logo.

WearItOut's purchasing director, Michael Otway, made the decision to add the popular brand to the men's online fashion store due to increasing requests from customers. "We've been asked so many times to range 2(x)ist and so we've finally done it," said Mr Otway.
A starter range of the 2(x)ist product has just been added to the Australian store which promises to increase the range as the new seasons of the product are released.
